Bluntly speaking: I’m retired from my job as a librarian, but I’ve got to tell you that I’m not retired from living life to the fullest. With that said, hi, I’m Patricia Konarski, and welcome to my WordPress.com blog page. I enjoy reading all sorts of books. I’m actively involved in book activities, both locally and nationally. In fact, aside from working as a freelance editor, bookkeeper and book collector, I spend most of my time running an organization I founded, which is the Tucson Book Social organization. Other book enthusiasts and I hold monthly book socials to discuss all things related to literature. If you are in the Tucson, AZ area and interested in joining us for our next social, let me know. We can always enjoy another person’s perspective on literature and the sort. I also have to end this summary of myself with the same statement I wrote in my first post because I believe in it so dearly: At the risk of sounding cliche, books are passports to adventures of an infinite abundance.
